Multicultural Parade
Join us for the annual Hyack Parade, one of British Columbia’s largest family-friendly celebrations. This vibrant community tradition brings Uptown New Westminster to life with colourful floats, marching bands, community groups, mascots, performers, and festive entries from across BC and the surrounding region. It’s a joyful day of local pride, entertainment, and community spirit you won’t want to miss.
Festival in the Park
After the parade, keep the celebration going at Festival in the Park! Enjoy live entertainment featuring multicultural talent from across the region, explore artisan vendors and local exhibitors, and join the New Westminster community in celebrating the diverse cultures that make our city vibrant.
Summer Music & Fireworks Festival
Mark the end of summer at our annual celebration on the New Westminster Quay! Join the community for a lively day on the waterfront featuring live entertainment, artisan market vendors, local exhibitors, delicious food, and a dazzling Fireworks Extraordinaire to close the evening.
