NEXT PROGRAM INTAKE: TBD

NEW WESTMINSTER'S ORIGINAL
HYACK AMBASSADOR
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Serving Our Community – Representing Our City

Originally established in 1948, the New Westminster Hyack Ambassador Program is one of the oldest youth programs in the Royal City. Over 60 years, our program has grown and adapted to better empower the young women of our city, and has developed into a premiere leadership and development program. To be an Ambassador, we value a young woman’s ability to represent herself and her community, to be heard, and to lead.

Program mandate:

To Encourage, Educate and Empower young women in the City of New Westminster

The New Westminster Hyack Ambassador Leadership Program is proud to support the young women of our city. Awarding over $20,000 in scholarships annually at our Evening of Stars Awards Gala, participants also learn professional and practical skills, gain volunteer experience with various local non-profits and events, and have the opportunity to travel across British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest through the Northwest Festival Hosting program, as representatives of New Westminster.
